    • Deposit of marble for storage, into which a deposit of destruction has fallen. It has been impossible to separate the marbles from the destruction deposit.

  • Deposit of marble fragments of opus sectile (concentrated in the eastern edge of the room) and tile and pottery. The materials lie directly on beaten earth surface 4228 in the center of the room.
  • In original excavation of 4145 pieces of marble were removed - the excavation of 4145 went too deep. The marble materials were reassigned to 4148. There is an abundance of large pieces of pottery, mostly of storage vessels.

Ceramic Inventory

  • 1250 AD - 1350 AD
  • 2 laterizi romani stondati riusati. Il contesto sembra essere di pieno XIII secolo ma alcune acrome da fuoco abbassano la datazione al secolo successivo. Mancano del tutto ceramiche invetriate da fuoco e maioliche arcaiche di fine XIII-XIV, mentre ben rappresentate sono le invetriate locali, che saranno poi soppiantate quasi del tutto da maioliche arcaiche nel secolo successivo. Sembra quindi una fase in cui convivono produzioni di maiolica arcaica / ceramica laziale e invetriate locali, queste ultime però sono la netta maggioranza delle ceramiche rivestite. Difficilmente può essere più tardo della metà del XIV secolo.
