  • Head, L. 41 mm, of lower barb 9 mm, total 5 cm. Lower section l. 22mm, diam. below 11 mm, above 7 mm. Upper point section, 11 mm, lower diam. 11 mm. Shaft, l. 6.8 cm., th. .4 x .5 cm.
  • Iron arrow head in two pieces - the head, and the attachment shaft or tang. The shaft is square in section. The head is configured in two segments: tapering up from its base above the half-way point, then capped with a secondary section, the sharply pointed traingular head which caps the projectile. Along one edge of the projectile point a long barb runs from the bottom of the upper point section, along the lower head, and down past the end of the whole point.
  • Encrusted, rusted, broken between head and shaft of tang.
