  • REVISED: Metal alloy (CG) // Bronze
  • Lump, 3.1 x 2 x 1.2 cm ca., max. Bezel 9 x 9 mm top dimensions. Hoop strip, 3 mm.
  • Metal has sharp irregular edges, no worked surfaces identifiable, and is corroded. Bronze ring, crushed, embedded now in a lump of bronze. The type is familar from intact rings in the burials of the monastery sector. It had a squared bezel, inlaid (probably with a glass cap over colors, see below) and a hoop bent from a thin bronze strip.rn
