Description

  • Spur
  • Iron
  • U-shaped piece 11 cm long, 9.3cm wide, and 18-6 mm thick. Spur attachment shaft 38 mm long, 10 mm wide, 10 mm thick. Fork for rowel is 21 mm long. Rowel is 23 mm from tip to tip, and 6 mm thick. Individual spikes are 5 mm long. Attachment strap on left U-shaped arm measures 31 mm long, 21 mm wide, and 4 mm thick.
  • Iron spur in fair condition, with light corrosion. Right U-shaped arm is missing attachment flange, though the left still preserves strap attachment, which is ovular with a ring attaching it to the spur, and a flange on the other. The spur attachment shaft is short, comparable to o 212
  • Corroded, some spur stars broken.
