  • 22 cm overall. U-shaped piece 8.3 cm long, 8 cm wide. 13 mm tapering to 8 mm wide on each side, 6 mm thick. Spur attachment shaft 11.2 cm long, 9 mm thick, 11 mm wide, fork for rowel is 5 cm long. Rowel is 6.5 cm long from tip to tip, and 6 mm thick. Individual spikes are 25 mm long
  • Iron spur in good condition, with light corrosion but otherwise preserved intact with parts of attachment straps still in place in front flanges. Joint between spur shaft and U-shaped piece is surmounted by ring, as in o 212. Much larger than other spurs recovered on site, suggesting that it is a later design.
