  • A fragment of a complex edging for a very thin material folded to make a rim tacked from behind (piercings visible at back). A bronze flap with rounded corners was secured from behind to fold onto on the display face like a strap end, covering the heads of two small iron nails whose broken shaft stubs are visible behind, as is a third stub in the back of the flap. Behind are visible remains of a folded and torn bronze strip.
  • Weathered, lightly encrusted.
