  • Terra cotta
  • Diam. current, 3 cm., ht. 1.6 cm., hole diam. 6 mm.
  • Almost half of a small squat wide spindle whorl of rounded biconical section with large piercing. It broke vertically in half, across the hole. The well-worn object was very crudely made.rnA larger, stone whorl emerged from this same SU 8000.
  • Poor. Half broken away; the worn exterior was much chipped in antiquity, with one fresher scar.
