Description

  • Harness fitting
  • Iron
  • 7.3 cm long, 40 mm wide, 10 mm thick. Frame: max width 10 mm, min width 4 mm, 1-8 mm thick.
  • Large iron buckle, rectangular in shape with a single cross-bar set at approximately one-third of width. The object is heavily corroded, though it seems that the outer edge is broken next to the cross-bar, resulting in its current “g” shape. It also appears to have had another cross bar, set at an equal placement to the first, which would have originally divided the fitting into three sections.
  • Poor. Missing a third of its length on one long side, heavily corroded and encrusted.
