  • Belt Ring
  • Bronze
  • L. total, 34 mm. Disk, diam. ca 21 mm, piercing diam. ca 2 mm. Hanger: l. 14 mm in front, w. max 7.5 mm; from behind, bent strip l. ca 32 mm, w. tapering to 4 mm at the tip.
  • A decorated small disc-pendant with a hanger. Simple linear motifs and concentric circles on its face decorate the belt ring. It was probably intended for the attachment of a knife or pouch.
  • Good. Intact, green patina, mild encrustations at back.
  • Bishop and Coulston 2006, fig. 137, 12. The type is associated with sites in northern europe, and has military associations.
