- W. 3.35 cm., l. each side 7.5 mm, th. 3 mm. Square hole roughly 1.3 x 1.3 cm. each side. Corners aligned to the center of a side of the octagon so w. of frame is 8.5 mm from hole corner to outer edge, 9.5 mm. from hole edge to outer edge.
- A ring of thin cast iron with octagonal contour; its large square hole is aligned in diamond-fashion, with axes cutting the centre of 4 sides of the octagon. Perhaps an ornamental intermediate anchoring element in a web of strapping, perhaps belonging to a harness or a belt .
- Poor: surfaces afflicted by corrosion and rust, with patches of accreted corrosion product.
