Description
- Spindle Hook
- Bronze
- L., ca 33 mm. Diam., 8 mm at lower end. Th. at flattened tip, 1 mm. Diam. of nailhole, 3 mm. Th. of bronze, 1 mm.
- A pointed sheath to fit over the shaft of the spindle. The solid lower edge is carefully pierced with a large nail hole to fix it in place.
- Medium. The element is intact, the surface relatively clean. However, the long sharp point has been crumpled and pressed flat.
