Description
- Looped nail
- Iron.
- L. current, 9 cm. Ring diam., 14 mm ext., ca 7 mm int. As nail: shaft l. over 10 cm, th. ca 9 x 9 mm tapering to 3 mm and below at tip.
- A nail shaft that has been reworked to include a ring shape at one end. The point has been flattened, and the whole nail is largely corroded. Possibly used for lighting fires.
- Medium to poor. Especially at head end, encrusted and rusted. Ring tip is fairly clean, however. Head may or may not be broken.
