Description

  • Bell
  • iron
  • 11.2 cm tall, 7.2 cm wide, 31 mm thick at base. ring 39 mm wide at bases, 18 mm tall, 4 mm thick, 11 mm wide.
  • Crotal bell made of sheet or iron formed into a square shape. A hanging loop is soldered onto the top of the bell, too narrow to be a handle. On the inside a clacker was suspended from the handle. This was probably an animal bell, given the hanging loop.
  • Poor condition; crushed, cracked, corroded.
