  • The surface of this stratum is irregular for the presence of the large inclusion of roughly hewn stones and brick fragments that appear in medium concentration throughout the stratum. The soil was friable and permeable. This stratum was not of the unform thickness, racing from 20-30 cm, with the thicker portion at the western edge. This stratum differed from the next in its color and consistency.
