  • The piece is in good condition, its surface lightly pitted with one major break at the base of the fleur de lyse.
  • A fragment of richly decorated white marble finely carved on three sides. The piece, which is vertically oriented and symmetrical across its vertical axis, is comprised of a fleur de lyse bound at its base by three narrow bands with rounded profiles. Below these bands the fleur de lyse forks into two spirals that curl in opposite directions and is capped by a narrow lip. The reverse is roughly worked.
