Interpretazione

    • Possible similarity to stratum 8125 in the center of the trench. The pack of this stratum is extensive, as visible in section. This was a surface to be cut and form the base of huts. Not for habitation.

  • This stratum visible as a small peninsular shaped feature found under 8095. It is horizontally dispersed and marked by the presence of mortar inclusions (predominantly) of a bluish grey color (ca. 5-10 cm in length), although small brick fragments are also discernable. This stratum had a consistent soil matrix and inclusion concentration throughout. The distinction between this stratum and that below was clear for reasons of color and composition.
