  • The stratum is mostly consistent throughout with small stone and tile fragments (1-2 cm). The lower level of the stratum has some irregularly placed tile fragments. The stratum is darker and sandier than the stratum below it and contains fewer inclusions.
  • The stratum was identified and excavated in its entirety. The stratum was created in two phases. In the first phase, as a post, and then as a fill created by the disintegration of the post.
