Interpretazione
-
- Stratum appears to be an earlier phase of modern soil deposition in the trench form in part by human activity and in part by natural wash down the inclined land behind the Casale. Since it is difficult to distinguish this stratum from SU (8000), especially in section, we have decided to designate this as a single modern layer with the provision that we do have different phases of modern deposition that are imperceptible in excavation. Under this stratum, we believe non-modern layers in this trench begin.
