  • Semicircular large cut along west side of wall 7007, cutting the edge of this wall. In the west part, the cut slopes to east for ca 65 cm from its widest point, then drops sharply along a straight N-S line, thus forming a ledge within the wall of the cut. In the deeper eastern part of the cut, the brown construction clay which runs beneath pavement 7004 is visible in the southern part, while in the north, the clay is cut to form a deeper recess which is lined with stones and bricks.
  • 7018 is the latest of three successive cuts in the area. See 7016 and 7056.
