  • This preparation for the mosaic runs everywhere in the corridor to the east of 6184, and is composed of a top layer of rather loose, pebbly cement, which came off easily when troweling. The pavement is broken and has sunk in the west side of the corridor against the "spalle" of the drain that was underneath it 6223. In several places the mosaic has been preserved. A very small part has been preserved on the other side of wall 6220 (6305).
