- This silty black soil extended the exposed length of 5174 and is full of occupation debris. The depth and consistency of the fill varied depending on the location within the cut. While mostly void of finds, there was a concentration of pottery (in particular) over the area of the drain.
- Very similar to 5001 in color, compaction, components. Nell'allargamento operato verso W (2009) lo strato era parzialmente coperto da uno strato molto compatto di pietre e materiale edilizio (5243), ed e' stato distinto con un nuovo numero di US (5261) poiche' piu' chiaro e compatto in corrispondenza dell amb. 25 e delle strutture SSU 5236 e SSU 5237 che ne costituiscono il limite sud.
