DescriptionSides of cut difficult to distinguish in places. Possibly cut into foundation trench fill of pier 2026 --> 2244. Wider at west than east. Widest point at center of cut. Base of cut curves gently.
ObservationsBase of cut composed of soft clayey soil flecked with carbon. Foundation of pier 2026 visible in west. 2247 abuts this, but as yet it has no stratigraphic unit number.
