- Well-defined wall in western edge of trench, containing marble and slate facing in some places. Wall running north-south regularly reticulate faced with bricks showing at the edge (opus mixtum) seems to bond with 1752. The triangular drain is part of the wall and constructed at the same time. Drain is composed of 2 bipedales resting on other horizontal vasca. The drain was closed off with a tegula, and the drain inside continues to run down underneath the level of the drain. The bottom of the wall has not been found.
- very regular; in places, slate/marble facing seems embedded in wall
