Descrizionetwo joining fragments, top, back and bottom ssmooth, clamp hole in bottom at back, as well as irregular groove, made at a later stage, possibly during building of wall, to better stick to the mortar. This is one of two (noticed until now, possibly more), cornice types in this part of the staircase. Heights are the same, depths matter less as they are placed in the mortar.
