  • The colonette is broken on both ends. The surface, once finished to a high polish, is lightly scratched, pitted and slightly discoloured.
  • A fragment of a round colonnette carved from Proconnesian marble. The surfaces of this fragment was once finished to a high polish.
  • Smooth-surfaced colonnettes dated to the first half of the ninth century were found at S. Erasmo, Formia (Miele 1998, nos 100–01 and 105–06).
