  • The base was broken in half and is chipped on its outer perimeter.
  • The profile of AE 1041 once comprised a torus sloping into a shallow cyma curve terminating in a narrow, projecting rim. Carved surfaces were finished to a high polish; the area on which the colonnette would have rested was only roughly finished, with chisel marks apparent.
