  • Stratum was distributed horizontally, with a smooth surface presenting inclusions of charcoal on the surface. The matrix was consistent throughout with a few pieces of ceramic concentrated in the center of the stratum. The difference between this and the successive stratum was clear because of consistency, color and composition.
