  • Buckle with strap end
  • Iron
  • L. 6.2 cm. Strap end: l. 37.5 mm, w. 33 mm, th. total 7 mm., Tongue, 12.5 mm.
  • An ovoid iron buckle with thick tang mounted on a large squared iron strap-end, between whose doubled plates the strap of belt or harness would have been compressed.
  • Intact, though much rusted and encrusted; the tang is frozen in place by corrosion product.
