Interpretation

    • This fill was formed in two phases. The bricks existed with a wooden pole, serving as its supports, while the soil is related to the period after the pole disintegrated.

The distribution of these brick fragments, which are 5 cm or greater in length is not consistent, with greater concentration along the western and northern margins of the cut. Some were also found at the interior of this stratum.
