  • This soil is more compact and lighter colored than that of SUs 5062 and 5066. While there were rare specks of charcoal, there was nothing artificial in this level, which we assume reflects the bottom of the cut SU 5061.
  • The bottom continues into the eastern section so we were unable to see the other side and whether this is in fact the bottom.
