  • Struttura muraria in cementizio e pietre orientata E-W rinvenuta a N di 5036 la struttura sembra legata a 5033 e 5038 ed era parzialmente coperta da 5036 che inoltre vi si appoggia come 5018; foundations consist of large chunks of yellow volcanic 'tufa' in a blueish, dusty mortar with small inclusions of pozzolana (less than 1 cm) and only occasional inclusions of unreacted lime. White limestone is mixed in with the tufa just below the level of the bonding course and the offset of ca. 10 cm is eliminated. Only foundations without trace of a bonding course are present east of ditch. East of 5033, only bonding courses apparent at much lower level (- ca. 65 cm). West of ditch, bonding courses and wall above foundations survive; roughly squared blocks of tartara in rough coursing; no use of bricks apparent; mortar of wall above foundations is bright white, washed purple pozzolana of medium size (up to 3.5 cm) as well as unreacted lime and other inert materials.
