- Even layer of yellow clay deposited in large parts of the central and eastern parts of the trench. It has been cut in several places. It does not appear to have covered the entire area, but seems to have covered most of wall 7028.
- It seems to be deliberately placed to cover cuts in parts of the trench. It covers 7071 and probably originally also 7039.
