  • This level was the topsoil removed from the trench layed out by Serena, Andy, and Ryan. In the clean up, we found modern pottery and plastic. The trench was layed here in part to test the accuracy of the magnetometry survey.
  • Initially only 15-30 cm were removed, but we think that the topsoil layer extends about 15 cm deeper.
