  • ***TBC The pavement has a smooth cement surface in places, cut by various holes, and has been reduced to rubble in other places, where the skin surface has been removed from the pavement. 2008: A thin layer of mortar that covers (4149) and is part of an extensive pavement system across Rm I, Bldg I. It is cut by a great number of inclusions and is related to the lime kiln at the center of the room (it covers the north wall of the praefurnium).
  • TBC*** This is the pavement, partially reduced to rubble, located in the NE quadrant of the trench. It is impossible to know whether it was the pavement designed to go with 4005 because it does not reach the wall. 2008: In areas left exposed between 2007 and 2008, its limits have been deminished. North of the lime kiln, it seems that the pavement used to cover the layer of earth and tufa blocks that are now exposed. 4154 and 4155 seem to have been made to join with the remains of 4017 to make a continuous surface in this area.
