Villa Magna

Interpretation

    • Grave of an infant buried beneath 3694* and 3701*. Displacement of vertebrae suggest that the child was buried in empty space and the vertebrae moved when the skeleton was cut for later graves, probably the first of multiple infant burials here as subsequent infants were buried in exactly the same spot and orientation.
