Interpretation

- very difficult to understand to what phase this pavement belongs as it has no visible cohorts. It is possible that it was laid down after the tomb system, of which 3103 was a part, were finished. It then may have been cut for the reuse of this tomb against the north wall of the church. A verticle tile that marks the eastern-most limit of the tomb next to 3103 (3153) is cut in a way that suggests these tombs were reopened.
