- Layer of yellowy gray clay mixed with looser grey sandy silt directly overlying (15) immediately below topsoil, occassional inclusions of small angular gravel, very compact. Occassional fragments of modern tile, pot and nails.
- In areas, a layer of plastic sheeting was covering (15), indicating area had previously excavated to reveal (15).
